Dornbos thanks Cheney donors for super plunge support

I would like to thank the city of Cheney for all of its support for the 2011 Medical Lake super plunge!

Thanks to you I was able to raise almost $4,000 dollars for Special Olympics. The money will be put to use supporting our local Special Olympics athletes. Once again thank you for your support.

An open letter to the West Plains Community Fair, RIP

Dear West Plains Community Fair, 

I'm sad that you are now gone. It's been a blast knowing you and spending time with you. When I first got to know you, I was a child. We had many good memories together. But now you are gone, you will be missed a lot.

Thank you for everything you have done. Also thank you for the good memories. You have been a great friend. Rest in Peace: West Plains Community Fair, 1992-2009.

The Dollars for Scholars Committee would like to thank the community members, the school administration and the school employees for their support of the first Medical Lake Dollars for Scholars dance, raffle and silent auction on March 12 at St. Anne's Church.
