Police contract challenged by ML residents

It was standing room only at Tuesday's Medical Lake City Council meeting and most of the roughly 50 present were there to see one woman ask questions.

City Administrator Doug Ross started the meeting by saying he hadn't yet received a final contract for police services from Spokane County, but that he expected to have it in hand by Friday. The council agreed to a special session to review and decide on the contract next Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.
