CHENEY

May 10

A theft of a camera was reported on the 200 block of Betz Road.

A suspicious circumstance, a neighborhood dispute, was reported on the 300 block of Erie.

May 9

A third-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of Washington. Baseball bases were stolen at Moos Field.

A wallet was reported lost on the 900 block of Third Street.

May 8

An attempted suicide was reported on the 200 block of West Second Street. Subject agreed to voluntary commitment.

A domestic violence was reported on the 700 block of West First Street. Verbal only.

A third-degree theft was reported on the 1000 block of Salnave at Salnave Elementary School. An iPod was stolen, and recovered, and an 11-year-old female was arrested in connection.

A 15-year-old female was arrested on the 2200 block of North Sixth for violation of a juvenile probation warrant.

A blue, Schwinn bicycle was found on the 100 block of West Second Street.

May 7

A domestic violence was reported on the 300 block of Oak. Sent to prosecutor for review.

A third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 2700 block of Al Ogdon Way. A screen door was damaged.

A harassment incident was reported on the 2300 block of University Lane. Information only.

May 6

A black mountain bicycle was found on the 20000 block of S. Mullinix Road.

May 5

A third-degree theft was reported on the 2700 block of First Street. Some beer was taken.

A home invasion was reported on the 800 block of West First Street. Two men broke into a home and held the occupants captive at knifepoint. One occupant called 9-11 after the men fled. Cheney police apprehended one subject soon after the report, and police in Liberty Lake arrested the other subject early the following morning. Arrested was Brandon T. Foscue, 21, and Thomas E. Snell, 22, for first-degree burglary and first-degree robbery.

John B. Mirdik, 36, was arrested on the 800 block of Second Street for driving under the influence.

Tylor J. Abnore, 19, was arrested on the 400 block of Washington for possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a dangerous weapon.

Kalen L. Williams, 20, was arrested on the 700 block of Fifth Street for minor in possession (MIP).

Reyna L. Alvarez-Toscano, 19, was arrested on the 800 block of Sixth Street for MIP.

May 4

Karla L. Rexilius, 42, was arrested on the 1800 block of First Street for third degree driving while license suspended.

A two-car, non-injury collision was reported on the 100 block of First Street. One driver was cited for failure to yield.

Jared J. Daugherty and Michael J. Tiedman, both 20, were arrested on the 3200 block of Meadow Glen for MIP and possession of fireworks.

Edward A. Saner, 21, was arrested on the 400 block of First Street for DUI.

A loud party was reported on the 100 block of West Third Street. Three females were cited for noise infractions.

A two-car, non-injury hit-and-run collision was reported on the 300 block of Erie.

MEDICAL LAKE

May 13

Officers received a report of an assault that occurred in the area of Walker and Barker.

Received a report of a possible harassment in the 800 block of East Barker Street.

Ryan M. Smith, 24, of Cheney was arrested for residential burglary domestic violence, occurring in the 300 block of North Washington Street.

May 11

A malicious mischief was reported in the 1000 block of East Lake Street.

Raymond E. Chaney, 27, of Mead was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and first-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS) in the 800 block of East SR-902.

May 10

Citizen reported a disorderly person in the 200 block of North Prentis Street.

Officers responded to a two-car minor injury collision near SR-902 and Graham Road.

Officers took a report of a missing person in the 900 block of East Percival Street.

May 9

John S. Yeager, 27, of Spokane Valley was arrested for multiple (four) warrants.

Received a report of third-degree theft in the 800 block of South Hallett Street.

Georgie A. Creed, 32, of Cheney was arrested for third-degree DWLS in the area of Legg and Campbell.

Received a report of third-degree theft in the 1100 block of East Evergreen Street.

Ryan M. Smith, 24, of Cheney was arrested for possession of marijuana, a felony warrant, and a misdemeanor warrant arrest.
