Pat and Ron McKinley of Cheney will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at a March 17 open house at Spokane County Fire District 3 Station, located at 10 S. Presley St. in Cheney, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The couple married on March 17, 1957, in St. John, Wash.
Their children, and hosts of the open house are Mike and Genny McKinley of Cheney, and Brenda and Larry Andrew of Kirkland, Wash. They have five grandchildren.

On Dec. 26, 2006, Gene and Diane Edwards celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
A gathering of friends and relatives was held at the Cheney Rodeo Grounds to commemorate this occasion.
Children Bob and Donna Edwards of Spokane, Rick and Judi Edwards of Cheney, Gina and Bill Doremus of Moses Lake, Wash., Ken and Tara Edwards of Vancouver, Wash., and Keven and Debbie Edwards of Greenacres, Wash., hosted the party.
Unable to attend were Cindy and Gary Curry of Brownsmills, N.J., and Kelly Edwards of Portland, Ore.
