It took very little time, just over 1 minute, for Bogdan Bliznyuk to connect on a nothing-but-net 3-point shot that elevated him past former leader, and teammate, Venky Jois as Eastern Washington University's men's basketball career leader in scoring. The milestone came Jan. 25 in EWU's 95-71 Big Sky Conference victory over North Dakota at Reese Court. Jois' record stood at 1,803 with Bliznyuk coming into the game at 1,802. Bliznyuk, seen here with associate athletics director Pam Parks, received a souvenir photo and ball to commemorate the feat.
