Betty Mae Labish, 94, born Feb. 2, 1922, to Walter and Henrietta Rupp, in Cheney, Wash., peacefully passed away surrounded by her family, on Jan. 24, 2017, at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane. The Cheney Youth Commission is a way for kids in middle school through high school to get involved in the community.
