Known as a pioneer of hard rock with more than 40 years to back them, Blue Öyster Cult remains as one of the biggest names in rock history. The band is often cited as a major influence to other popular heavy rockers such as Metallica.

With the release of their self-titled album in 1972, the band’s catchy yet heavy music and lyrics lit the music scene on fire and the band saw great success in the decades to come. Some of their greatest hits include “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper,” “Godzilla,” “Burnin’ For You,” “Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll,” “I Love The Night,” and “Veteran of the Psychic Wars.”

With hit after hit, the band was listed on VH1’s countdown of the greatest hard rock bands of all time. The intense creative vision of BÖC’s original core duo of vocalist and lead guitarist Donald “Buck Dharma” Roeser, along with vocalist and rhythm guitarist Eric Bloom are complemented by Richie Castellano on guitar and keyboards, the longtime rhythm section of bass guitarist Danny Miranda and drummer Jules Radino.
