StageWest says thank you, see you next year

Letters to the Editor

StageWest wrapped up it’s 2016-2017 season last weekend with the Dinner Theatre performance of Tom Dudzick’s “Miracle On South Division Street.” We had an excellent run with this production and would like to thank several people that helped make it successful.

To Mike Hartman our caterer extraordinaire: What a wonderful dinner you prepared and all of the diners loved it, thank you for your service. To Harry Schafer our prop master and master kitchen man: Thank you for the great set. We were asked too many times if the refrigerator was real. You did a wonderful job making the kitchen come to life.

To Jim Lafever: The shrine was beautiful and we really appreciate the time and effort you took to build it for us. To Lily Kate Boutique: Thank for the loan of the mannequin who played such a pivotal role in the play. but just who exactly did she represent? To the cast and crew: thank you are such small words to say for the work you put into this production.

To the congregation of Emmanuel Lutheran Church: A very blessed thank you for the generous use of your beautiful building for all of our auditions, rehearsals and performances. We are truly grateful for your kindness.

To all the citizens of the West Plains, Spokane County and beyond that came to one or more of our performances the biggest thank you. Without you StageWest would be nothing.

We will be having our children’s workshop in July. To register or for more information please contact Judy Gross at (509) 299-2649. Like us on Facebook and check out our website, http://www.stagewestct.org to keep informed of what is coming up next.

Until next season I will leave you with this quote by actress Tullulah Bankhead: “If you really want to help the American theater, don’t be an actress, dahling. Be an audience.”
