For your contemplation: “Most any part of life can become sacred – virtues, oneself, relationships, roles, people, music and literature, time and space. Life as a whole can be sanctified, as we hear in the words of Frederick Buechner describing his life on Rupert Mountain: Listen to your life. See it for the fathomless mystery that it is. In the boredom and in the pain of it, no less than in the excitement and gladness: touch and taste your way to the holy and hidden heart of it because in the last analysis and all moments are key moments and life itself is grace.”
