WMS artwork on display at Airway Heights library

There is a new venue to promote and appreciate student art in Airway Heights.

The Airway Heights Library and the Westwood Middle School Art Department have teamed up to feature a permanent, rotating exhibit of student artwork that will run through May. In a news release, Katherine Potter, Westwood art and social studies teacher, said the drawings, paintings, sculptures and pottery displays will be changed each new school quarter to "highlight the most engaging and well-crafted pieces by these incredibly creative sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade artists.

Visit the library anytime during regular business hours to experience Westwood student art. The library is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., Wednesdays and Saturdays 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Sundays 1 – 5 p..m.

The library is located at 1213 S. Lundstrom St.
