Abraham Lincoln made this statement on March 4, 1865 at his second inaugural address which was right towards the end of the Civil War in our country: “With Malice toward none, with charity for all, with firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in, to bind up the nation’s wounds.”

We are still recovering from a very acrimonious and painful election season and no matter how we voted most likely few of us got what we wanted, but we did the best we could to vote responsibly. Where do we go from here?
