Emmanuel Lutheran Church

The congregation of Emmanuel Lutheran Church invites you to worship with us at 10:30 a.m. this Sunday, Feb. 28, as we celebrate the Third Sunday of Lent. Christian education for grade school through adults begins at 9 a.m.

Emmanuel invites you to attend our Lenten mid-week soup supper and worship continuing on Wednesday, March 2. Soup supper is served at 6 p.m. followed by Holden Evening Prayer at 6:30.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church

A welcoming haven, nourishing all God’s people in body, mind and spirit.

This Sunday our Diocesan Bishop, James Waggoner, will preach and preside and be our guest at our annual meeting and potluck following the service. This will be his last visit to St. Paul’s, as he is retiring this year. All please come to welcome Waggoner and wish him well.

Lenten reflection and discussion will follow coffee hour each Sunday all through the season of Lent.

Attention all college students — the Episcopal, Lutheran and Methodist Campus Ministry meets each Monday evening at 5 p.m. for dinner, study and worship. Please join us. For more information contact the Rev. Christine Soule at 844-2553.

Choir practice each Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. Come sing with us.

Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. in the parish hall.

United Methodist Church

Join us for the third Sunday of Lent at the United Methodist Church. Associate pastor Pat Sleeth will continue a Lenten sermon series based on the book, “Gifts of the Dark Wood.” Worship is at 10 a.m. Sunday school classes are 9 a.m. including a grief support group.

Sunday evening there will be a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Come for a time of both quiet contemplation and conversation.

Wednesday evening join us for soup at 6 p.m. Followed by a Lenten study also based on the book, “Gifts of the Dark Wood.” Childcare is be available.
