StageWest concludes another successful season

New season kicks off in fall with the classic ‘Anne of Green Gables’

StageWest Community Theatre, Inc. ended its 2014-2015 season with the last performance of “Bedside Manners” by Derek Benfield.

Even though the performances were shortened by one weekend, and opening weekend was Memorial Day, Nancy Kuonen, StageWest’s director of advertising and publicity, said they had “great audiences that enjoyed the play.”

Kuonen said the group thanked all of the sponsors that bought ads, merchants in and around the West Plains that donated merchandise for raffle baskets, all cast and crewmembers and their families “who’s loved ones spent so much time away from them during auditions, rehearsals, and plays. Kuonen said they also thanked all the members and families who helped behind the scenes selling tickets, refreshments, putting up and breaking down sets, and “especially Mike Hartman for the wonderful meals that he catered for our dinner theatres.”
