Emmanuel Lutheran Church

All are welcome to worship with us Sunday. You may also watch our pastor’s sermon on our website emmanuuelcheney.org or on YouTube at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Cheney. Christian education begins at 9 a.m. for grade school through adult.

Emmanuel will hold its last youth event of the school year for grade school children Sunday, May 17 from 4-7 p.m. All grade school children are welcome.

Mark your calendars for Aug. 10-14 for Vacation Bible School. Registration forms will be made available at the end of May. Vacation Bible School at Emmanuel will host children entering grades first through sixth. This year’s theme is “Unvanquished.” St. Rose Catholic Church will host children ages 3-5.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church

A welcoming haven, nourishing all God’s people in body, mind and spirit. The Rev. Christine Soule will preach and preside this Sunday.

Saturday is spring cleanup day. Come with your tools and a smile.

Attention college students: Each Monday at 5 p.m. you are invited to join us for dinner, study and devotions.

Narcotics Anonymous meets Tuesday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the parish hall. Fellowship breakfast is each Thursday at 7:30 a.m. in the parish hall.

When we go through life cultivating the ability to be grateful that it’s not raining, that we are not sick, that we have good friends if not a lot of resources, and that we have found things we like to do, we are rich enough inside to sustain whatever we might lose around us,” Joan Chittister.

United Methodist Church

Please worship with us at the United Methodist Church this Sunday. Worship is preceded by Sunday school classes at 9 a.m. This is the last week of Sunday school classes until fall. Pastor Alissa Bertsch-Johnson will continue a sermon series on gifts of the Spirit.

Following worship join us for fellowship time.
