West Plains Chamber members nominate Best of the West

West Plains Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for it’s annual Best of the West awards in a variety of categories. Nominations can be made up to 5 p.m. Jan. 6, 2014, and can also include self-nominations as well as one nomination in all categories.

This year all nominees will be included on a ballot that will be delivered via email to each member of the chamber, who will select the most deserving of this award in each category. Watch for this ballot around Jan. 7, 2014.  

The top three will become finalists, with winners selected by a non-partial judging panel. All finalists will be notified and asked to attend the Best of the West Gala where winners will be announced.

Nominations are accepted in the following categories: Community relations, customer service, innovative practices, technology, person of the year, business leader of the year, non profit (Section 501(c)(3), first responder of the year, most uniquely West Plains, large business of the year (51 plus employees), medium business of the year (21-50 employees) and small business of the year (1-20 employees).

In addition to these awards the chamber is also honoring: Military persons of the year, chamber champion of the year and educators of the year.
