Emmanuel Lutheran Church

Emmanuel Lutheran Church invites you to worship with us this Sunday, May 9 as we celebrate the sixth Sunday of Easter beginning at 10:30 a.m. Pastor David Ophus will preside. Fellowship follows at 11:30 a.m.

Emmanuel Lutheran Church invites the community to join us for a potluck dinner theatre production of “Murder, Mayhem, and Marshmallow Salad” on Sunday, May 16 beginning at 6 p.m.

Following is a brief description of the event: A church potluck seems a benign enough setting, right? Ha! Something's come up missing, and it's the beloved marshmallow salad. This scandalous discovery is only the tip of the iceberg. The real deal is Pastor Evan Keal keeling over.

What's the proper protocol when there's been a murder? No one knows – not to mention who would do such a thing? Was it the bazaar-o clad-all-in-black Phil (osopher)? Or drama queen wanna-be Molly Keen? How about the unemployed pastor, who is manic about networking, or somene you'd least suspect, like the no-nonsense, matronly Tess?

The audience puts on their detective hats to try to solve the case as they dine. So many theories and huge laughs along the way! Includes a recipe for the infamous marshmallow salad. So far out there that it's great fun.

A free will offering will be collected for Cheney Outreach.
