A writer emerges with a poem about families and memories

Back in August I suggested someone write a story for the title “Only Trees Move At Midnight.” Shortly thereafter I met Bonnie Morrison Haines. She actually reads the Cheney Free Press. She reads my “contributions!” We talked.

Soon I received a letter from her. “Thinking of quiet, dark nights,” she said, “the enclosed verses emerged to ‘move me at midnight.'”
