ML student receives scholarship

Brandon Robo of Medical Lake is one of 625 students selected to be a recipient of a $1,500 scholarship awarded at Fairchild Air Force Base. The funding award comes as part of the Scholarships for Military Children program from which there were 6,000 applicants

Robo plans to enroll at the Community Colleges of Spokane. He is involved in Boy Scouts, soccer, is an altar server and is a church volunteer.

In addition to writing an essay, to be considered he demonstrated leadership and community involvement while maintaining a 3.0 or better grade point average.

His parents are Brian and Deanne Robo....
