It's no fun when the lights all go out, but Cheney has it pretty good

It's always interesting how people react when the power suddenly vanishes.

On March 6, in the Cheney Free Press office, there was a collective groan about 4 p.m. when our computer screens went black. Some of us had recently saved the work on our computers, which held all the precious information needed to get the newspaper out on time for the week.

Some of us had not. You can probably decide for yourself which camp simply sighed or let loose with a few choice expletives.

Still, it was more than just a little inconvenient. And, with a large press running at the time, there was a certain amount...
