  • Cheney police warn citizens of suspicious person

    Cheney police are asking the public to be on the look out for a suspicious individual who approached several young women at Salnave Park Tuesday evening, Oct. 17. According to an email from Capt. Rick Beghtol, police received a report between 5-6 p.m. Tuesday from a citizen who noticed a male in his 30s with brown to black hair wearing baggy clothes going back and forth between the restrooms at Salnave Park and a vehicle in the parking lot.   • Windsor Fun Frenzy

    Windsor Elementary School capped its Windsor Spirit Week with the "Wildcat Walk and Fitness Frenzy" last Friday, Oct. 6. The school's Parent Teacher Organization sponsored the event that featured the student body walking laps around the nearby Westwood Middle School track. Different grade-combinations split off for more athletic fun at various activity stations led by Eastern Washington University Health and Fitness students.... Full story
