    Eastern Washington University men’s basketball coach Jim Hayford has announced the addition of Alex Pribble as an interim assistant coach for the Eagles. Pribble, a graduate and former player at Cal, spent the past two seasons as an assistant at San Francisco State where he was the top assistant for the Gators.     Eastern Washington University quarterback Vernon Adams’ efforts in helping engineer his team’s stunning 49-46 upset of No. 25 Oregon State Saturday at Reser Stadium in Corvallis earned the sophomore selection as the Sports Network’s Football Championship Subdivision Offensive Player of the Week. Adams, from Pasadena, Calif., and graduated in 2011 from Alemany High School, finished with a school-record 518 yards of total offense in the win.
