    All-State baseball title to Adams’ team Medical Lake’s Cory Wagner pitched three innings for the Mt. Rainier team in the opening day of All-State Baseball last weekend in Yakima that defeated a Mt. Baker team with Cheney’s Riley Jones 14-6 at Parker Field June 11.     Cheney Boy Scout Troop 356 and Cub Scout Pack 356 commemorated Flag Day, June 14 at Veteran's Memorial Park. Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States, which happened on June 14, 1777 by resolution of the Second Continental Congress.     Our beloved Kay (Davis) Donnerberg, 54, passed away June 8, 2016 at her home in Cheney after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Kay was born in Van Wert, Ohio on June 10, 1961.
