The Cardinals fell 1-0 to the Eagles as Cody Constant broke a scoreless tie at halftime with his goal at 49 minutes in a second-round playoff game played in Suncrest last Wednesday.     By JOHN McCALLUM Editor The Cheney boys and girls track and field teams ended their Great Northern League regular season meet schedule with wins last Wednesday in Clarkston. The boys downed the Bantams 83-45, finishing with a 3-3 record overall while the girls ended at 5-1 with a 76-55 win, losing only to league champion East Valley.     By JAMES EIK Staff Reporter A young Cheney girls’ tennis team was persistent throughout the season and finished with a 5-9 record on the year. The team started out their final two matches in a tough fashion against Pullman, losing 6-1. Katelyn Smedley was the lone winner that day, and ended up going 10-4 for the entire season. In its final week of regular season play, the team lost to Pullman 7-0, facing tough competition throughout the day.
