    Pair of Eagles make BCIHL hockey All-Star team Two members of the Eastern Washington hockey team were named the the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League’s 2016 All-Star team announced by the league March 15.     The Cheney High boys’ golf team is in full swing for the 2016 season after they finished 14th out of 17 teams with a score of 428 at the Clarkston Invite, March 14. . Sophomore Tyler Koohns shot an 86 to lead his team. Other finishers for Cheney include Thomas Baycroft with 98, Logan Klauss, 118 and Ian Hill, 126.     The Cheney High baseball team opened their season on a high note, March 12, with wins over Prosser (21-2) and Sunnyside (12-2). Against Prosser, Cheney scored nine runs in the first inning and six more in the second to make it a 15-0 lead. Prosser prevented the shutout after scoring runs in the third and fourth innings.
