    Four Cheney Parks and Recreation Special Olympic basketball teams competed Jan. 26 at a regional tournament in Pullman, bringing home silver medals and ribbons. In their first year of competition the Team Skills group earned a silver medal. The Individual Team, competing in shooting, dribbling and passing, and the Unified Team – who played four games on Saturday – also both earned silver medals in their brackets.     Medical Lake wrestlers went to work last weekend in a place known for vacationing, coming home from 1A Bi-District competition in Chelan with three wrestlers headed to this week’s Mat Classic XXV in the Tacoma Dome. “We did well, we took six and placed five,” Cardinals’ head coach Sam Petersen said.     The Medical Lake girls’ basketball team made an early exit from the postseason last Tuesday, falling 55-40 in a lost-out contest in Chewelah. But considering the Cards even got to the game in the first place might be considered a win in itself.
